Comment : I am not frequent to relocate. But when I got a great job offer in Dover, DE – I had to leave Paterson, NJ. It was hard to find a reliable moving company within my budget. I got quotes from several companies but it was Grace van lines which stood tall. Their manager was very responsive and informative. He walked me through the entire process, completed the paper work in no time, scheduled my move perfectly and the team of 4 men did great. They arrived on time, packed the full house and loaded and moved everything to the other end within the allotted time and without a hitch. I am glad that I used Grace van lines.

Comment : This is the absolute worst moving company and would not recommend them at all! My initial conversation with Debra was great and she was a wonderful sales person. She could sell snow to a snowman. I had several questions regarding certain items to be shipped and she was very reassuring the items could go on the truck and offered packing tips. She should not consult in packing tips. We need the items delivered asap and she said we would be put first on the delivery (wrong). Initial quote was in line so we decided to move forward. I had given Debra a complete inventory list of every box, Rubbermaid container with the size and contents within, plus all furnishings. She told me she has never received such a detailed list. It didn't do any good for the job. List was given to the pick up crew too. Pick up day. They arrived 3 hours late. Lead person on the job Kevin kept reassuring me that he was a professional mover. That was false. Once our items arrived we found out how UNprofessional he was. Our price for the move now goes up $1,650. We have no choice we need to move forward and pay the additional fee. We had six cases of sealed bottles of alcohol and antique crystal decanters which I was concerned about the transport. The bottles were wrapped in paper, placed into compartment boxes and placed into Rubbermaid tubs. Both Kevin and Debra said no problem with putting these in the truck. Somehow these mysteriously disappeared and did not make it to Florida. Someone had a great party on my expense. Plus kept the tub of cleaning products to clean up after their party. Delivery: Several calls numerous emails to Ivette 20 days later our stuff arrives. I was shocked at the condition of the boxes and Rubbermaid containers. They were damaged beyond reuse. The truck was packed and then smashed like a garbage truck. The delivery crew, a husband and wife team, I don't remember their names but they were amazed at the damage. They could see how upset I was and they were very understanding. Furniture broken beyond fixing, scratches on furniture, and the missing items beside the liquor and decanters. Flat screen television packed in a moving box specifically for tv's damaged beyond use. Looks like it was stepped on. Several calls to Ivette to locate the numerous missing items was useless. Claim: Followed their procedure on the claim. Claim submitted Novemer 5, 2015. It has now been 92 days later and still have not been reimbursed for the items damaged and loss. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GRACE VAN LINES AT ALL. THIS IS A HORRIBLE MOVING COMPANY AND THEY DO NOT FOLLOW UP WHEN THERE IS AN ISSUE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A MOVING COMPANY.

Comment : If you are looking to move and are finding a trust worthy company please look no further Grace van lines is there to your rescue. They are an excellent company and the services they provide are better that the best. We had to move on a short notice as this was in pertinence to an urgent vacancy that needed to be filled. We never had to move a finger and all the packing and dismantling was done by the packers. In addition to this when the goods reached our new address the packers skillfully unloaded the goods and placed it to positions where we exactly asked them to be placed. The shifting was the best ever, Grace van lines you are number one.

Comment : Grace van lines, I am grateful to you. You suggested me to search on this site and some other sites to find helpful movers. Who knows, internet could be a best place to find out a better mover. This company, the kindest and cleanest mover and crews I have ever found. They were respectful for our belongings. They completed the task one day quicker than the estimate. Already I have recommended them to my family. I cannot write enough about them. They are the only one company that I will use them again in my future move. Thanks for a pleasant move!!

Comment : I was more than happy to write this review about Grace van lines. They were terrific! Weren't late with anything. I have a huge problem with people that are late, and I was so nervous they would be late the morning of my move. They showed up right at 8am ready to work! The guys were so sweet; I ordered them all pizza just for the wonderful effort they were putting forth! Not one piece of furniture had a single scratch on it! It was all good.

Comment : This company sold their lies quite well. I was given a qoute by a 'moving specialist' (Debra Casa)after listing my inventory, room by room, with her, the distance from the driveway to the apartment building, the involvement of stairs and an elevator. She sent me a quote of $2502. It was a bit higher than the other companies were asking, but the thing that sold me was the promise of no subcontracted driver would be involved. She also said the movers would wrap all large furniture items in blankets, and additional boxes would be available if I need them. Debra Casa assured me of that, she also promised that the quote she gave me was final. I gave her a deposit of $550. I should've ran for the hills then when she charged my credit card twice, in error. When the movers arrived I was told my move would cost $3444. Kevin (mover) said the increase was because the boxes were various sizes (I told Debra they were all large), the furniture was oversized (my quote was for smaller items), they'd have to charge me for the use of blankets and tape, the elevator, stairs, and parking situation were not included on Debra's quote so that's more as well. Had it not been the 12th hour of my relocation I would have gone with another company. Kevin told me my delivery would arrive on 1/7/15. My shipment did not arrive until 1/23/15. I called every day, several times a day for updates or any information. Debra would not take my calls, the owner (I was told ) does not get involved unless the shipment is past 21 days after initial pickup (they picked up on 1/2/15) so Andre, the dispatcher, said they're still within the delivery window. When the truck arrived the driver opened the door to boxes strewn everywhere. There was a huge box which had fallen on one of my television boxes and pierced completely through the inside. (I must point out, Grace Van Line insist you pack your own tv's, then the movers will come and tell you they're not responsible for damages to tv's they didn't pack), I unp

Comment : I have used Grace van lines twice recently. I would recommend them to anyone; they are very honest and reliable. They will keep you informed throughout the process. They are very professional and have polite, helpful, friendly moving crew, who worked very hard and gladly giving excellent service from start to finish. There were no breakages and missing, as I am a particularly fussy person they managed to move some very heavy furniture over difficult ground to place them exactly where I wanted them. I repeat that I would recommend them to anyone.

I moved 3 times in my life and out of the 3 moving companies I used this was the BEST ONE! I used them based on some of the reviews I read on this site. Comment : I had to move urgently, the move was involving the packing up of a four bed house and placing all the goods into an apartment virtually the same size. However it was quiet far and we needed to move in almost immediately. We called many moving companies and they were all glad to assist. The quotes of some companies were very competitive. With some basic research and understanding we decided to choose Grace van lines. There service was just as mentioned in the reviews. The customer service guy was the best and was understanding. They firstly agreed to accommodate us on such a short notice; which we are very grateful to him for. Second we needed the packing done very carefully and requested him to send responsible people. He assured us all their workers are equally well trained and any team which would arrive would do their work with the same efficiency. That was absolutely the case; the packing was done professionally. We had no damage at all and our goods arrived in perfect condition. I have only pleasant memories with my previous moving experience with Grace van lines. This is something I recommend them very strongly for.

Comment : I moved with my girlfriend from NJ to MD and was looking for a moving company with on-time delivery and good service. We looked up on the internet and found Grace van lines so we thought it looked legitimate. Got a quote from a phone call and we thought it was reasonable for a short distance. They recommended a specialized service that takes extra care of items and furniture that normally gets damaged when on the move. Been two days now and got everything set up. We have to say thank you, and thumps up for a good job in a day’s work!

Comment : I do relocate a lot because of the nature of my business. So, moving place from one place to other is not new for me but unfortunately I never got an expected result during any moves until I used Grace van lines. Couple of days ago I shifted to Connecticut from New Jersey and I used Grace van lines for the move. For the first time, I have experienced a stress free, cheap, timely and very smooth move. Their movers are very skilled and they are willing to apply their skills, they have some great sales rep who are very able to organize a move perfectly and most importantly they are easy to hire and very affordable.
