Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need. After World War II, there existed the widespread need for do-it-yourself moving equipment that would be available on a one-way, nationwide basis. U-Haul co-founders L.S. "Sam" Shoen and his wife, Anna Mary Carty Shoen, recognized that need and acted upon it. Their visionary approach spread the cost of ownership among many users, facilitating the mobility of the populations of the U.S. and Canada. The covered wagon of the pioneers morphed into orange U-Haul trailers. In the process, an industry was born.

Comment : I had moved to Auburn a month ago with my family. We had chosen the U-Haul moving and storage for its services. The moving service provided by that company was very excellent. We had no trouble on the whole way. The drivers and the movers were polite with us and helped us well. I was happy to see that my possessions were transported in a safe manner. I was afraid of my glassware getting damaged but I was pleased to see that they remained unscathed. I was glad to see the moving truck arriving right on time. I would choose U-Haul in the future too if I ever need moving and transportation services. My ratings for this company would be the highest.

Posted at September 8th, 2022 04::09Subject :A bad experience from reservation to drop off.
Comment : Reserved U-boxes 4 months ahead of moving date (for college kid) and was told 5 days before the move that they had no U boxes and that I needed to drive to another city (40 min way) to pick and store the U-boxes that I reserved 4 months ago. They told me that they do not guarantee a U box at the location that I booked but only after they could not honor my reservation. A paid reservation months in advance means nothing. Poor management. Poor company. I would not rely on them for a move during a busy time.

Comment : I have had a really great experience as their customer. They are always very helpful, friendly, and professional. The place stays very clean. Could not ask for better Allison especially gave me good customer service
