In 1919, with one moving truck, sensitivity for others and a lot of determination, Economy Moving & Transfer Company began its journey toward perfecting the art of moving. Thirty four years later Edward Marx purchased Economy Moving from his father. In 1982, after the moving industry was deregulated, Edward founded New World Van Lines and was granted the authority to operate the company as a 48 state carrier. Each year we listened to our customers and employees, developing new methods to make your move a smooth, exciting experience. Edward introduced the innovative "single crew service" using only full time, uniformed employees, and the exclusive use of company owned equipment in lieu of owner operators.

Comment : THE WORST COMPANY EVER !If I could give minus stars I would. I beg you please save your time and health and NEVER PLEASE NEVER deal with them. We have been trying to get our boxes for 3 weeks. Communication is awful. I mean it, AWFUL! We finally were able to make an appointment for today. We drove 11h from Portland to SF to get our staff and NO ONE IS HERE! NO ONE picks up. When finally after tons of calls from both number they picked up - customer service guy totally does not give a crap. Blamed us. Very unprofessional and just wanted to get rid of us. So here we are, waiting 3h already for a miracle I guess. AWFUL. THE WORST COMPANY EVER. NEVER NEVER NEVER USE IT.
