NWA was originally founded in 1948 by Paul "Pinkie" George in Waterloo, Iowa. Its early years were marked by a territory system where different promoters controlled various regions of the United States. This decentralized structure meant that NWA had no fixed central location during its formative years. Instead, the NWA's headquarters existed wherever its president resided, which changed periodically. In 1950, Sam Muchnick took over as the NWA's president and moved its headquarters to St. Louis, Missouri. Under Muchnick's leadership, the NWA flourished and became one of the most influential wrestling promotions in North America. St. Louis remained the heart of NWA operations for several decades, and the city became synonymous with the NWA brand. the NWA has experienced multiple shifts in its headquarters and operational locations throughout its history. Comment : The four men who came to load our truck were awesome! They worked their tails off, took the time to wrap everything really snug, packed the truck like they were moving their own home and were very friendly. The lead guy -- Larry -- was attentive, friendly and courteous to our parents while they were packing. Great bunch of guys!
