Comment : Move4u earned a zero star rating, but this is forcing me to at least choose one star. I would give them negative stars if I could. Save yourself a lot of trouble and find other movers. 1. Shawn Dao is utterly unprofessional and a liar. In a bait-and-switch manner, he told us he would move pieces of a renovated kitchen to our home for a price, and then sent both a truck that was too small and too few men to move the heavier items. His men took the lighter items that we could have moved ourselves at a fraction of the cost, and left the heavier ones behind. The had no appliance dolly to move the refrigerator and were completely unequipped to do the job. 2. Then, we were told that we needed to pay an additional fee to move the rest of the items, on top of the quoted rate. He set up a time with us a whole week later to move the rest of the items, and then never showed up. He never called to cancel or let us know that he was not coming nor would ever come. My husband waited for four hours

Comment : I hired Move4u to load a POD and then unload it a couple of weeks later at a new location. I was very specific in my requests via email, I asked more than once if they disassembled and reassembled all furniture and was told yes (in writing) both times. The initial load went fine, on time and the job was done. The unload was a complete nightmare. Shawn attempted to reschedule about 6 hours prior to the time they were scheduled to arrive. This would have cost me an extra $300 for another month storage. He agreed to keep me on the schedule, he sent only 2 guys to unload who were on their 3rd job and beyond weak and exhausted. I have very heavy furniture and Shawn knew this because he loaded it. These guys were in no shape to do another move, no fault of their own. They were getting careless towards the end and scraped/dinged my walls in both stairwells. NOW the nightmare, they left 4 large pieces of my bedroom furniture in the living room and did not put either bed or table toge
