The Jensen family founded Modesto Transfer & Storage some 70+ years ago. Originally founded as Jensens Van & Storage, it was a small enterprise servicing primarily Stanislaus County. As the county grew, so did the Jensens business and family. After many years Mr. And Mrs. Jensens son-in-law, Mike Marshall, purchased the company and renamed it Modesto Transfer & Storage. At that time, they also affiliated the company with Allied Van Lines, a world leader in household goods relocation. In 1999, the Marshalls decided to retire, at that time Gary and Susan Smith purchased the company. Gary Smith, having been Allied Van Lines driver of the year in 1996, has brought his many years of hands on experience to Modesto Transfer & Storage, adding to an already rich history.

Comment : I moved out of Tracy to Oakdale a few months back, and as a matter of fact had a fantastic experience with this moving team. The salesman, who referred to himself as a surveyor not a salesman but we all know right? Well he was honest at every step, including that his estimate would be just a tad over the actual days move. I saved a hundred bucks compared to the estimated price, which is the kind of surprise you want on move day! The crew was courteous, and you would not believe it one of them looked just like my old pal John! I know you are in San Antonio now but man, this guy looked just like you. He did not have your accent though!
