Comment : I scheduled a local move with Get It Moved about three weeks before I moved. Up until the moving day, things seemed fine -- I spoke with someone about what we would need to be moved, set up a time, and received a confirmation e-mail. That was the last I heard from them. I called 30 minutes before they were due to arrive, and the man who answered the phone said that he was out of town, but he was sure the movers were on their way. They never showed up. I called that same number over and over again all day, and no one ever answered or called me back. Not having movers put us in a huge bind, and my husband and I were very angry. I ended up finally getting a refund through UHaul, since I booked through their website, but I never heard back from the actual company. Stay far, far away.
