Comment : Having never moved cross country our nerves were tense. Had a few walk thrus and Mayflower gave me the most confidence. Loved Carl, Deborah, and Steve. Always available, never had to wait. Everything on schedule nothing lost or broken. Chicago to Reno. The best.

Comment : I requested there services to help me move from Chicago to Casper , WY. I went with Mayflower and they use Ft. Dearborn. Mayflower somehow seems to have good reviews mostly but my mistake being i did not look up Ft. Dearborn. Moving is never easy and with me starting a new job in WY where i have to be at work almost 13 hours a day it was not easy at all. I planned my whole work / personal life around the delivery window of two weeks that was given me. I lived in an almost empty apartment and making do with things hoping my stuff with arrive any day. My move coordinator Debra C. did a poor at communication. I never received any updates and i was the one constantly reaching out to find where the things are at. Today i emailed D.C. and i was told that my stuff MIGHT BE loaded on a truck on the last day of my delivery window. They have no regard for their customers and do whatever they want. They do NOT care if you are without your home for almost a month as long as they collect their massive bills and are happy.

Comment : My experience with Fort Dearborn was phenomenal. The movers came on time and the entire move was organized. Debra was the lead person over the move after booking it with Carl. She was great. She was very patient and knowledgeable as I was nervous about moving my things from Illinois to New York. From my experience, people who had issues may not have organized their move very well. I did a partial pack and I had everything packed, labeled, and ready to go. When my items arrived in New York, the movers were patient as we marked off each item. They set everything up that was broken down in Illinois. Out of my 146 pieces, three things were broken and they were all small things. I even received a refund in the mail because my weight was way under the estimate. Moving is an emotional task, but Fort Dearborn made it easy for me. 10 stars
