Comment : I had the experience to move from Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton after living in my home for 20 years. You can imagine how stressful the entire process was. After doing some research I luckily found Family Movers Express. They were so professional and courteous and their price was perfect. The crew that came to pack up my belongings handled everything with care. I highly recommend this company to handle your move.

Comment : We had them move us recently from Boca to Miami, and they did a pretty good job. The only bad thing was that it was raining, but the did not stop for a minute . All items were covered in blankets and plastic. Avoid moving in the rain of you can.

Comment : Highly recommend this company is truly worthy of five stars taking our overall experience this may be the best weve had moving and we move alot. First off they were helpful and flexible when our closing date kept on getting pushed back we had to change the moving date like 4 times and they were very understanding all communications was prompt and efficient. Secondly the movers were incredibly fast and worked hard when you move alot you get used movers who are constantly taking their time running out the clock etc. Even though we were there last move of the day and it was very hot these guys hustled. Lastly the true mark of a 5 star company in my opinion is their customer service we had a few little issues all of which were dealt with promptly and more than fairly when one of the movers dropped something they credited us $50 which was more then fair since we didnt opt for any extra insurance at the end of the night the movers were exhausted which led to reluctance to help put two pieces of furniture back together as well as a mess in the freight elevator which our HOA fined us for. They did help with the furniture and when we brought the fine to the companys attention after the move they credited us the amount right away and apologized things will go less than perfectly during a move but this company handled everything so well we were definitely in good hands for the price this may be the best Moving company in South Florida. the final amount due was very reasonable even including the well deserved tip for the 4 movers!

Comment : We hired them in particular to move my mothers industrial sewing machines, as they are too large and heavy for us to move them. These machines are my senior mothers only form of supplemental income. The movers left all 3 sewing machines behind. They assured us on the next move (Promised Mid-Nov) they would bring the machines up on another truck. They did not. Not the owner will not return my calls. We are missing shelves to our wall unit and still trying to figure out what else is missing. We payed them over 1700 and tipped the movers. We were kind, patient and understanding. I called a few times for my mother and they still did not return my calls. My mother is in her 70s and this is not the way you do business. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra money for a better mover. They left my senior parents out to dry.

Comment : I called and spoke to George on 6/1. I was given an estimate of $1800 for my move with 3 guys and a 26 ft truck. No packing/unpacking services. My movers were Max and Gary. They were 5 minutes early when they arrived, and the first thing they did is to bring moving blankets in the house. They wrapped everything. When we go to the new house they unloaded and set up the furniture as I requested. They even cleaned up after themselves. I have already referred them to my Realtor. We ll be moving out of here in a year so we will use them again for sure
