Originally opened as Burger Express in 1912 by Otto Burger, Boulder Valley Transfer has a rich and storied history of moving households and businesses in Boulder Colorado. Our founder, Otto Burger, with his wife Louisa and their three sons Ralph(1903), Bernard(1916), and Joe(1920).The original vehicle! A spring wagon and the Burger s work horse in 1912. Their other horse was used for commuting and Sunday outings only.The R.E.O. truck, predecessor to the Oldsmobile line, in 1918 in front of the homestead at 1515 7th Street, Boulder, Colorado.
