Comment : Columbia, MD to Virginia Beach, VA in just 4 days, within a very short notice and within a very short notice was like a dream come true. I never expected such world class service from Global Moving Systems but their foreman and his helpers proved that there are still committed and skilled workers available. I am also glad to have the best possible deal from Julia at the office. Overall, it was a great moving experience with Global Moving Systems.

Comment : We just moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 4 story townhome. The crew at Global Moving Systems were very careful with our belongings and got everything to its destination without incident. The effort lasted longer than the company anticipated so the final bill was a few hundred dollars higher than we were quoted, but I believe this is completely understandable given the challenge presented by the stairs and the heavy weight of some of our items. Side note: We tipped our crew heavily given the difficulty of moving our furniture up several flights of stairs. I learned that some of our neighbors, who moved into the same style townhome, did not tip at all. I feel awful for their movers. Please... tip these guys! They are putting tremendous wear and tear on their bodies for our benefit, the least we can do is make sure they are receiving fair monetary compensation.

Comment : I do not know how to thank these people after how they moved my office within such a short notice. I was given the responsibility my Boss to find a reliable company. After doing my research, I decided to go with Global Moving Systems because of their reputation and fair pricing. They proved that I took the right decision. The crew arrived on time with all necessary tools and packing materials. They packed the whole office and loaded the stuff. Everything was double checked before the loading for the safety. They reached the destination before the allotted time and also assembled the office furniture and setup everything the way we wanted. We did not see any damage, not even a scratch and the price was fair enough. In other words - Global Moving Systems proved that they are great for commercial move.

Comment : I got a better job in Virginia and suddenly decided to relocate there. It was not possible for me to do it alone. I needed the professionals and after my research I booked my move with Global Moving Systems. The sales guy was great to deal with. The pickup guys arrived exactly on time as planned and did a great job of moving the boxes and organizing them exactly how I wanted. In fact, they did it better than I was originally thinking. They are worth it totally!

Comment : I am sure that Global Moving Systems is one of the best movers of east coast. I was lucky to have this company helping me out during my recent move. The sales rep was very helpful from the start to finish. He gave me confidence, ensured a safe and sound move and gave me in written that there will be no hidden fees. The foreman with his team did wonders. I had plenty of valuables and breakables plus a grand piano and a pool table and some heavy and old furniture. So, I was mentally ready to see some damage but I was hoping to keep the count low. When they delivered my belongings asked me to check the inventory, I checked and surprisingly nothing was damaged or broken, not even a glass!! And the final price was $20 less than the estimated price. I really do not know how to thank these people.

Comment : I am really happy that they have made the best use of my hard earned money. When I first talked with the sales guy, I got confidence. He was very responsive, attentive and helpful till the end. They gave me a good price, not the cheapest but reasonable, got my stuff moving within the allotted time and completed the job within the schedule. There were few minor mistakes but not enough to cause an issue. Overall, I am really happy and impressed with Global Moving Systems.

Comment : We moved to Virginia Beach, VA from Columbia, MD few days ago. It was Global moving systems that did the packing and moving. I promised their sales guy that I will write a review recommending them if they can provide me a picture perfect move. They did provide what they said, so now I am writing this review. They did the packing with ease, pickup and delivery was on time and the condition of the inventory was just awesome. Most importantly the price was $20 less than the quoted amount! I have no words to praise them. All I can do is to recommend Global moving systems.

Comment : Brilliant experience. It went far better than expected. They moved my family from Newport News, VA to Washington, DC. The way they packed and shrink wrapped our stuffs and moved on to the truck, they looked like master of moving. My three years baby was interrupting them. But the guys were not irritated at all. Rather they also loved her and brought cookies from nearby grocery. All the movers were young and strong enough to hoist heavy items spontaneously. This was my second moving experience. The workers of previous company cracked my furniture in such way that those were not for any use. Global Moving Systems was attentive to its client's assets as if my stuffs were theirs. Their delivery persons were similarly qualified. I checked everything, no problem. I will certainly use them again.

Comment : About a week ago we have relocated to Baltimore, MD from Virginia Beach, VA. It was a 4 bed room move. So, I decided to go for a reputed company instead of going for the cheaper ones. After hours of searching in the net, my wife and I decided on Global Moving Systems. Called them and spoke with their sales rep, got the best possible solution, very precise estimate and the exact date for the move that we asked for. Paper work was done in no time, and we were all set to go. Movers arrived on time at the move day, did the packing, loading with ease and completed the move a lot before the schedule. After checking the inventory, we did not get any valid reasons to complain for and the final cost was very close to the estimated amount. So, I would consider this move as a great success.

Comment : Just moved to Washington, DC from Norfolk, VA using Global Moving Systems. I was about to go for another company but my wife suggested me to go with Global Moving Systems. So, I hired this company though they were slightly over priced than the other mover. But after using this company and experiencing a very relaxed and stress free move, I have to admit that they made our money count. These guys were terrific in packing the entire house and loading was done in no time! We just had to receive our stuffs here in DC. They made the delivery within the schedule and made sure that we do not have to see any broken or damaged stuffs. It seemed really easy. Comment : I heard a lot about Global moving systems from my friend who just moved with them. After filling out the online form for the quote, I got a call from their sales guy. It was great to see the outside estimator within just an hour after I talked with the sales guy. His onsite estimate was very detailed and the price seemed to be quote reasonable. They also gave us in written that there would be no hidden cost to haunt us. They have kept their promises and made my move a very pleasing one. Comment : Our sales rep was very responsive. She explained the whole moving process in detail and assigned the best crew. But before that their outside estimator arrived in my house at Baltimore, MD for the onsite estimate. The estimate was very detailed and reasonable as well. He also gave us in written that there would be no hidden fees after the move. We got the exact date that we asked for the move. The moving team showed up 30 minutes before the schedule which was good. They helped us packing the remaining stuffs and also checked the other boxes and used extra bubble wrap, shrink wrap and blankets for the safety of the goods. The piano and the pool table were our biggest concern but these guys are well trained to handle these kinds of stuffs. They have managed to move all the stuffs before the schedule and did not break anything. Not even a glass!! Our move from Baltimore, MD to Virginia Beach, VA was completely stress free did not cost us more than the estimated amount.

Comment : Just relocated to Norfolk, VA from Washington, DC and used Global Moving Systems for the move. I have to admit that they have given us a lot more than what we were looking for. My wife and I were very worried about the delicate items and for the glass and crystal ware, when we noticed them working really hard, we got confidence. The packers did the packing with ease; movers did the loading in record time and moved everything without any hiccups. Comment : My family moved from Virginia Beach, VA to Bowie, MD. We have 2 children and lots of toys! Global Moving Systems sent an estimator person to our home to estimate the cost and details of our move. The day of the pick-up we were scrambling to finish packing and get organized. The movers were on time and even called us 30 minutes prior to arrival. They disassembled some of our furniture, wrapped and secured the fragile pieces and even packed what we were unable to finish packing. They promised us delivery within 5-10 business days and a phone call 24 hours prior to the delivery. We received our belongings 4 days after the pick-up. There was nothing missing and nothing damaged. Also, we kept in touch with our sales person who would give us updates on the delivery. We were very happy with our move and highly recommend Global Moving Systems.

Comment : Global Moving Systems crew was FANTASTIC! It was a difficult job with all the packing that had to be done at the last minute. Everyone was very careful with our belongings, taking care to put extra tape as needed and keep boxes with fragile items straight up and heavy items from getting on top of lighter things. We did not hear one complaint. Everyone worked very hard and was no polite, true professionals! We could not have been more pleased.

Comment : We used Global Moving Systems because we saw them working at our friends moving. This was my first moving inside the US and I will use them again next time! And I must say that they really cover a vast area for moving. Comment : Terrible Experience with Trans United that led to total frustration for my family and me. I would recommend one to be prudent and stay away from this company. Given below is the complete timeline of my terribly frustrating experience with them. Thursday 05-Jun-2014: William (Bill) sent me a "Binding Moving Estimate of $1,330.00 for 400 Cu. Ft., and is supposed to include all taxes, fees and surcharges. He also mentioned that they are not like other companies which initially quote a figure and then when their driver turns up to pick up the belongings, the rate usually gets doubled or tripled. He had also explicitly stated that the delivery timeframe would be up to 21 Calendar Days and the same has been explicitly documented in the binding estimate. He told me about being BBB certified and that they have great ratings and I got convinced with him after doing some basic review of the company. And they scheduled the final pickup time at 10 AM on June 12, 2014 after I paid the initial deposit, 30% of the total amounting to $399.00. Thursday 12-Jun-2014: The driver, Ben, came 3 hours late in a Ryder truck and said that he is the Chief Executive of the company and that Bill reports to him and that we should be proud of meeting him in person. Then he looks at my belongings and does some calculations and states that I have 635 Cu. Ft. and that my estimate would now be $2,420.00.
