Comment : Echoing numerous reviews, DO NOT USE Delta Relocation for any moving requirements. We used Delta in June for a move from CT to SC. They are dishonest, unreliable and incompetent. Excessive Billing (pricing scam) - Delta refused to do an onsite estimate. Therefore, we provided a comprehensive, detailed inventory listing prior to the estimate. We were strong-armed at pick up, the revised pricing was $2306 or 53% higher that the initial estimate. Lost Items - Delta lost a valuable one-of-a kind piece of art sculpture and a cabinet which was part of a 6-piece wall unit that we can no longer use. Broken Items: Several items were received damaged including an antique dining room table with the legs broken off. Staffing Services: Contrary to Delta representation, they used non-Delta personnel, "kids" to unload our goods. They left the job incomplete with all the bedroom furniture wrapped in shipping blankets

Comment : If I had read the other reviews before calling Delta One I would have chosen another company but the card they sent in the mail was well done and so I called. Trey seems to be the main contact and he had a good phone presence. I booked a time and he was a little slow on an email but hey, they could be busy. Then Covid-19 hit. We were nervous about shelter in place so I called to see it we could get an earlier date. Trey and Chris worked on it and got us moved up. The day of the move the driver called in advance to say they were on the way. When they showed up they waisted no time and were two of the fastest and most efficient movers I have seen. Even though it was by the hour rate, they worked quick and got us moved with an extra stop in under two hours. My only suggestion is for them to hire a coordinator in the office and have Trey be a lead man in field. Our experience was great and they deserved a good review.

Comment : I really would like to know if anyone else has noticed how all the 5 star ratings all sound the same. There is a pattern.They also post two 5 star ratings each day. No more, no less. I find it hard to believe Delta Relocation receives two 5 star reviews every day! I was a customer and cannot comment any further at this time. Claim in progress.

Comment : We have recently used Delta Relocation in our move from Delaware to the Jersey Shore. The moving crew was great! (Anthony and crew) To a person they were professional, kind and courteous. They were especially attentive and kind to my wife, who is disabled and was able to direct the guys of specific needs, to which they were incredibly helpful.. However, and this is a big however, the entire office staff and management staff were extremely disingenuous, deceitful and played a classic "bait and switch" game with us. Gemma, who is the alleged "mover consultant" purposefully bid low to obtain our business. She did not send any representative to estimate the moving costs and Cubic feet of material, instead used the estimates from other moving company bids. She was asked by my wife to come out personally to estimate the costs, but said that would not be necessary.. Gemma had also stated that the quote would include full packing and unpacking and told my wife that she will "take care of you" and my wife would "not have to lift a finger". This was important because my wife is disabled and the move itself is grueling enough..She took care of us all right....After receiving the first invoice, it was noted that the packing cost was an additional 1k, and that she (Gemma) stated that she told my wife that already. She is very good at blaming the customer for . We did negotiate that price to be lower, but that was just the beginning.. On moving day the crew arrived at our house prepared for a much smaller place, a 4 room apt as per Gemma, even though we specified to her specifically, that we had a house, not an apartment. She stated that little detail was basically unimportant and did not revise it by the time the guys came and never even informed the moving crew!! She had almost an entire year to change it, but for some reason only known to her, she never did. The guys came with much smaller trucks than were needed and did a great job of cramming everything in, with only a few instances of minor damage. We were then informed that we had to come up with an additional 4000k to move additional stuff!!!! We were able to get that price down when we told Anthony of our membership in AARP and my wife's disability status. Still, we had to come up with an additional $2250 in cash, in order to complete the move..We were stuck and had to move this week as planned. Gemma stated that we could use a credit card, certified check or money order, Michael the owner refused, and then when called on it, Gemma blatantly lied that she stated that she never said that. We tried to speak to Michael, the owner on multiple occasions, but he refused, for who knows what reason. We called Yvette at customer service, who said that she would call back after speaking to someone and never did even after I left repeated messages. She was very good at initially placating us, then like everyone else at that company (except the movers) left us high and dry. Good luck trying to get anyone on the phone at the office if anything goes wrong. Once they recognize your phone number, something must go wrong with their phone system as it no longer seems to work..Strangely enough, the phone system worked fine when we were new customers! Gemma, who is extremely rude, uses a "customer blaming method" in a "confuse em and lose em" fashion as her go to customer service technique. She is extremely deceptive, has no semblance of customer care skills,and hung up on me and/or wife on multiple occasions while trying to get a answers as to why this happened and when I attempted to report damage to our dining room table.. By the way, the cost of unpacking was not included, surprise, surprise, and we are now left with the task of unpacking which for this week is ok, but when I go back to work next week, that will be up to my wife, who is wheelchair bound and will have to manage unpacking this mess, while I am at work. I can't tell you how angry we are at this company. From our experience, I would steer well clear of this Delta relocation moving company for their deceptive practices and blatant disregard for customer care, and especially Gemma for whom we have a particularly high level of disdain for how she treated us. It's a shame, because the movers themselves were great guys. I would use them again if not for the company they worked for.

Comment : When I think of movers, I usually think of self-assured bulky men trying to carry an over-sized couch and damaging it by hitting it to the walls. To my utter surprise, when the day came for me to move and the doorbell rang, in came uniformed men from Delta relocation immediately took charge and started packing everything like well oiled machined. They picked up my piano like it was nothing. They loaded everything onto their vans and left. They really know how to do their jobs, hey?

Comment : I frankly had no idea about Delta relocation before making my move. I hired them because I was in a rush to move and their quote seemed very reasonable. I wasn't really expecting very good service but they really outperformed my expectations. Everything about them- from their packing skills to their smile- was absolutely on point. Their punctuality was quite admirable. I very highly recommend everyone to hire this company.

Comment : This was my second move this year. Last time I hired a company who had promised me big words but they delivered nothing. In fact, 2 of my boxes went missing on the way. So, I did my research this time to determine who is the best in business, not the shiniest. My research showed that Delta relocation had an amazing track record with cross-state moving. I hired them instantly. They came through. They were very professional and all my belongings were carefully loaded onto the vans. Nothing went missing when the vans showed up at my new place!

Comment : Most people are happy if the movers do an alright job. I am never happy with mediocrity. I had to hire Delta relocation for my move simply because they are the absolute best. They were super careful with all my valuables. They packed them cautiously and put them in the vans. The vans were not cramped so my belongings traveled quite safely. I am very happy with their services.

Comment : I relocate every few years and I have hired numerous moving companies before. None of them could provide the services as professionally as delta relocation. They were hired to move my belongings by my office. I didn’t really know much about them. But they were so good. Three men arrived right on time and started packing all my things. They were very creative in packing and carrying furniture. I have never seen movers more efficient and I have seen a lot of movers in my life. They gave me 3 dates for delivery and all my stuffs arrived on the first date. I have already recommended them to my company so they hire them for every next move of mine.

Comment : I moved very hastily and left the moving responsibilities up to my son back home. He hired delta relocation for the move. He later told me how efficient their men were. I only realized it when I received the delivery. All our boxes were well packed and systematically stored in two vans. I was very happy that nothing was broken or damaged. Thanks to this amazing company and it’s very responsible men for not letting mishaps happen.

Comment : Take my advice and do not hire a moving company with least amount of experience just because they give you a lower quote. They end up damaging everything beyond any repair. I know this from my numerous pathetic experiences with moving companies during relocations. Hire a company like Delta relocation which served in this business for a long time. I hired them for my last move. They were just amazing. All the movers were very experienced and it showed in the way they packed all my stuffs and carried everything with great care. Usually relocations are full of glitches and mishaps. But these guys make it seem like a piece of cake.

Comment : I hired Delta Relocation after a friend of mine assured me that they were good. These guys are as professional as it turned out. Their crew arrived on the right time. They were very capable and skilled. Even my cheap furniture survived in their hands. Sure, some small things were broken. But at least I didn't have to carry heavy boxes 5 flights of stairs anymore. They are cheap too! All in all I really advise people to hire them.

Comment : I required the men to be fast as I had to move within a very short notice. Men from Delta Relocation were not only fast, they were also very efficient. I hired them on a very reasonable hourly rate. The men arrived on time and were very properly equipped. They packed everything carefully with all the right packing materials. They were done loading everything very quickly. I was so happy to see how skilled and quick they were. All my belongings were delivered at the due date and time. My belongings traveled excellently and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Comment : I have only good words for delta relocation. They have recently moved and were assigned for the service. The 4 men crew did their best while packing our belongings and loading them to the trucks. They arrived timely for the pickup and delivered also within the scheduled time. Everything reached to the destination without any damage and the final price was reasonable too. During this entire process, we were not given a single chance to complain.

Comment : Hats off to the guys from delta relocation. The sales rep is a gem to work with. He scheduled the move and completed all the paper work in quick time, gave us a very decent quotation and ensured the packers arrive on time at the big day. They packed the entire house, were very careful with the walls and floors, playful with my pets and completed the packing without a hitch. Loading was done to the perfection and moving was completed within the given time. Nothing was damaged at all.

Comment : I am a regular customer of Delta relocation. I have to relocate a lot because of the nature of my job and I always prefer to move with this company because they are always one step ahead than any other movers. They know how to get the job done within a tight budget and within the schedule. By far I have moved 5 times with them and till now they did not give me a chance to complain. Price wise they are better than maximum companies and service wise they are second to none. I should have submitted this review a lot earlier but it is better to late than never.

Comment : Moving is an art. A good moving company comes up with a precise onsite estimate and serves their customers really well. Based on these facts, I have to give Delta relocation a 5 star rating. They have recently moved us and provided the full service. They made sure all our vulnerable stuffs, valuables, fragile items are properly packed into boxes and loaded. The journey was more than enough to cause some damages but surprisingly we received all the items in one piece and without being damaged. Most importantly they charged us a very moderate amount, nothing was hidden, and the move was done before the deadline.
