Comment : When I called Atlantic union van lines to move my belongings, I asked for them to send a crew that was trained and experienced enough at handling glassware. The movers they sent were led by a foreman who was just too good. His team was even more efficient than I could ever imagine. They were very creatively packing everything and easily carrying them out to the vans. I was at awe seeing how capable these guys were at handling my precious glassware. They delivered everything on time without breaking anything. I will definitely stick to this amazing company.

Comment : I hired Atlantic union van lines for my last move purely because of their awesome reputation. But to be frank, I was quite worried about how they were going to handle everything. They turned out to be very professional. They sent over 4 movers who had years of experience under their belts. Everything went like clockworks. They wrapped everything neatly and then loaded the boxes and furniture onto the vans carefully. They were done with everything so quick that I believe I saved at least 2 hours of extra wages. I will definitely recommend them.

Comment : The good men from Atlantic union van lines made sure my interstate move went as smoothly as it possibly could. It was so easy getting a quote from them. The number was quite low to my surprise! I wondered how the actual move would go. But fortunately the crew I got was very experienced and professional. They were unbelievably quick to finishing packing and loading everything. They delivered my belongings on time and in great condition. They finally matched the quote perfectly. I know how hard of a job relocating is but these movers made it seem so effortless.

Comment : In so many years of being a frequent mover, I haven’t come across movers like the ones from Atlantic union van lines. This company just blew my mind with their helpful customer service, experienced crew and reasonable prices. It’s a combination that is so rare in the moving business. But somehow they managed to provide amazing services at such low costs. None of my valuables suffered any damage while they helped me move and they maintained their timings throughout. I have seen many movers and thought they were great. But when I saw these boys in their element, I got schooled in how this job is really done!

They were very thorough with every little packing detail. They used enough packing materials to safeguard my valuables. Comment : Atlantic union van lines is an amazing low cost moving company. I hired them simply because of the quote they gave me which was lower than every other quote I got. Comment : We hit a rough patch and wasn’t capable to hire an expensive moving company. We hired Atlantic union van lines for their cheap quote without any high expectations. It turned out to be the best decision we made during this move. The movers were absolutely fantastic. They arrived on time, packed everything quickly and then loaded my things onto the van in no time. Even they delivered on time and nothing was damaged. I am willing to bet on their efficiency!

Comment : Where to begin? The move was horrible. The people who came to pick up came 24 hours later than they originally said so I lost a whole day of work waiting for them. Then they “negotiated” for how much I was supposed to tip them. AND after our furniture was loaded onto the truck the full bill turned out to be 2 times as much as the original estimate. And that was the GOOD part of the experience!! On the drop off end of the move, the driver showed up in the truck with no helpers. So guess who ended up actually moving our stuff into our apartment? ME and the driver – until 10PM at night (since he didn’t show up until 6PM). And I’m PAYING for this?? But the saddest thing was the amount of our belongs that were totally destroyed. I’ve moved across states before and expect some amount of damage. But the ferocity of this damage was intense. Two inch thick solid wood (NOT particle board) just SNAPPED in half! The leg of an office chair ripped off in the middle! A one inch thick wooden chest ripped in two! The metal frame of our bicycle twisted 360 degrees!! It took real effort to destroy these belongings. I think somebody was using them for demolition practice! I would post photos if this review web site allowed it. You would truly be amazed and wonder “how did they do THAT?”. And of course that was only for the belongings that actually showed up! We had one box that never made it to our end destination at all! For what it cost and the destruction of what was moved, we would have been better off giving away all of our stuff and just buying new at our new location. Lessons learned, lessons learned …. Move it yourself or don’t move it!!

Comment : I can’t even begin to explain how easy our last move was. It was handled by Atlantic union van lines so perfectly. They were on top of everything the whole time. Since the moment I hired them, for their low quote obviously, they have kept me in loop through emails. The movers didn’t delay anything on the moving day. They had to climb up and down 3 flights of stairs but it really didn’t bother them. In the end, the delivery was also made on time. I just couldn’t be happier.

Comment : I was worried sick before this move as it was my first one. I hired Atlantic union van lines to make it easier for me. Everything about these guys was just professional. It was very easy getting a quote. They showed up on time. It’s so hard finding movers who are efficient because most companies only hire novices. But these movers were very experienced. Comment : I was going absolutely crazy having to deal with so many tasks before moving. I just had to hire a moving company to share the load and Atlantic union van lines entered the scene. Thank god for these good people! They made my move so easy! The movers were very capable and friendly. They packed up my whole apartment so fast. They were very efficient too. They were carrying big pieces of furniture while cracking jokes. Never did I see such friendly and apt movers in my life. Comment : We have just moved to Chicago, IL from NYC with the help of Atlantic union van lines. I was not willing to hire them initially because I had a cheaper offer but after looking at their reputation I changed my mind and hired Atlantic union van lines. Now I can say that I made the right choice. They gave us the full service. From packing the first box till moving the last box to the other end, everything went according to the plan and without a hitch. Comment : What I liked the most about Atlantic union van lines was their friendly and prompt customer care service. Their movers were absolutely fantastic while they moved my belongings. But what really impressed me was their customer service. They were prompt, attentive and experienced. I was constantly kept in a loop by them so I wouldn’t become worried about my possessions. Comment : Atlantic union van lines goes the extra mile for their clients. I can say that because they handled my relocation without any issues whatsoever and in the end all my valuables survived the journey without even a single scratch on them. Comment : My move was at the worst of times. All the top moving companies are booked months in advance and I was stuck with the crappy ones. I can go on and on about how amazing Atlantic union van lines is but if they can’t accommodate you, it doesn’t mean anything. So I suggest that if you are moving, you hire them as early as possible. I had to call them about 10 times to find a vacant slot and I was calling them 3 weeks in advance. This company is amazing and so there is a long waiting list. I think they are definitely worth the wait.

Comment : Estimate: For the original estimate, we told them we had 2 bedrooms (1 bdrm plus a little in storage) and listed every item of furniture. The original quote seemed low when they arrived, so they looked it over and revised the quote to almost double the original. By the time the truck was packed, it was another $1000 over the second quote, and this was WITHOUT some of our furniture and boxes we had planned to move. Pickup: very professional, some minor rescheduling, seemed to package things well. Communication: we were absolutely unable to contact anyone from the company for about 20-30 phone calls to various numbers when we were trying to check the status of our move (over several days and times). When we left harsh voicemails, we finally got someone to help us. They kept referring to an online moving status function- when we tried it, it said to call customer service. No good. Communication was also poor about delivery, and it was rescheduled many times. Delivery: TERRIBLE. Two days before our things were scheduled to be delivered, our stuff was still in New Jersey in a warehouse. They said they would call when it got closer. We scheduled delivery, but they then delayed again for another day, then delayed that day for later in the afternoon, then were 2 hours late. In all, this was about a week after our originally scheduled delivery date. When the movers arrived, it was a subcontracted company called Uzbek Express. Their English was very limited. They moved everything to the garage, assembled and moved most of the big furniture and several boxes, but then stopped working and demanded that we sign the release paper. They became threatening until the paper was signed. They left, with about 80% of items left in the garage. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT USE ATLANTIC UNION OR UZBEK EXPRESS!! You will never be able to get a hold of them, they won't deliver when they agreed to, they subcontract to shady menacing characters, they charge over 2 times what they quote at first, things get broken, and they leave the job undone after being paid.

Comment : I don’t know how people even attempt to move all on their own. I could never do it. The stress of relocation wears me out. Thanks god for moving companies like Atlantic union van lines that exist to make our lives a lot easier. I hired them to move all my belonging from my old apartment to my new house. I am very pleased to report that they have done an excellent job. Every little detail was taken care of. The crew was very thorough and resourceful when it came to packing my things, especially my glassware. I was quite concerned about they were going to fit all my belongings into two vans but they did manage to do it somehow. Everything traveled very well as only two glasses broke during the journey. I am very happy to recommend this company.
