Comment : Whalens was fine to deal with.They were pleasant and honest. However, move was contracted out to another Allied mover since we were part of a long distance move. Movers were, in retrospect, awful. Only moved a handful of furniture and managed to seriously damage 3/4 of that. Moved a recliner and neglected to put the bolts that hold it together back on. Thank goodness no one sat on it first. they would have gotten seriously injured. they threw out empty bins belonging to us, because someone previous on the move said it was garbage....maybe their garbage, but not ours. Clothes still smell musty 4 months later, as do many of our possessions. Of course, once we realized bolts to chair were missing, driver no longer answered his phone. Unfortunately, these movers (out of Delaware) represent the entire franchise.
