Comment : They moved us from NJ to VT! Extremely efficient, professional, friendly. They make an effort to safely pack your items for the move, as well as communicate with you every step of the way. We highly recommend them!

Comment : I truly cannot recommend this company less. Everything was fine with pickup and storage of my stuff - the trouble started when I called to schedule my delivery. The first time I called, two weeks before I moved into my new apartment, I was told I should wait until moving day since the shipment might come early. I scheduled it a week later and was told it would take 2-3 weeks. As weeks went by and I called to check on the shipment, I was either rudely pushed off or given excuses. I was constantly told that it would be on a truck "soon" or "next week". I had to try contacting International Van Lines to have them call and get more information, which worked only occasionally. An already stressful situation was made worse having to deal with the people at Velocity. After sailing past the agreed-upon delivery date, the shipment eventually made it upon a truck. When the latest ETA passed again, I was told (only then!) that the truck had apparently broken down and been fixed. A few days later, it had allegedly broken down again. The delivery was so late that I was compensated the entire remaining balance. Finally my stuff did arrive... moldy. Furniture, clothes, and sentimental, irreplaceable items were covered in mold. I spent a week dousing everything in bleach and vinegar but not everything was salvageable.

Comment : I hired Velocity to help me with my small move. I only had less than 20 boxes and no furniture, and Velocity had the most reasonable prices. I spoke to Sharon on the phone and she was courteous and very helpful, and also offered to send me 20 boxes for $10. On the day of the move, Eli (the head mover) called me to tell me he had already arrived at 11am, but I was informed that they would only come at 12pm so I was still in the midst of packing. He patiently waited and later came up at 12 to help me finish sealing the boxes. The group of 3 movers were extremely efficient and cleared the apartment in less than 10 minutes. None of my items were damaged in the move. I will definitely be using Velocity when I move again.

Comment : I have never had a better moving experience. Will and Moses were extremely friendly and warm, very efficient, and just fun to be around. My wife and I moved from New York to Michigan and we were stressed and anxious about moving our valuables such a long distance. The quality of service from Velocity was second to none one wine glass was broken out of 65 boxes of belongings, a peloton and many more expensive large items. Will and Moses were here for delivery on time, maintained a level of professionalism and transparency that I have never experienced in a move before. I would highly recommend Velocity sometimes the customer service line is tough to get a hold of and there were some times of uncertainty on our delivery date but I cannot do anything but award 5 stars when its all said and done. It was such a great experience when our things arrived. Thank you Will and Moses if we could book you directly again the next time we move we would in a heartbeat every single time.
