Comment : I do not know where to begin in my review of uptown movers. They were highly recommended to me by my realtor and thank God they were. This company treats you like family.from my first conversation with mary at the office she was a pleasure. Meeting her and john at my apartment for the estimate of my move was easy going and I felt like I knew them already. John was going to be in charge of my move and wanted me to be assured that everything was going to be smooth sailing. I was very happy with the price they gave me for my move from a 22nd floor elevator move to a 14th floor elevator new building. They were very reasonable. John and mary came on moving day with three other movers and got to work quickly. They were all very professional and caring of certain items that meant the world to me. After the final box was delivered to my new place we all sat down and we felt like we made new friends. We thank you mary, John , Kyle and the other two guys for making my very stressful day wa_yyyyyyyyyyyyy less stressful. We would highly reccomend uptown movers for any moving needs. thank you michele and dottie.

Comment : I used this company a year ago after it was recommended to me by a friend. I moved from MN to WI. The price was much more reasonable than competitors, and I liked that its a family owned company. I paid the exact price they quoted me ($1350 for packing and moving all my stuff, plus tip). There were 3 teens who moved me. That was a little surprising at first because they were so young, but they were all polite, hardworking, and professional. There was one snafu where one of them accidentally locked the keys inside the moving truck... so that part was not so great. We ended up going to Home Depot to get a tool to open the truck. It added time to the move but it was fine. Probably worse for them than for me. If I needed to be out of my apartment by a certain time, it could have added some stress. They apologized and were clearly embarrassed, but mistakes happen. Other than that, the move went smoothly and nothing was damaged. Very nice guys too. I had recommend them to a friend too. Thanks!

Comment : If I could give negative stars I would, be warned this is the shittiest company ever, they promise one thing and then lie, while holding your stuff hostage. They demand more money then then asked for to begin with along with braking your shit. Customer Service is horrid. Our situation we even had to call the cops do to the hostel drive .we gle no compensation for the horrific situation we had been put though. So my advice to you is dont use this company unless you like tossing your money into the trash

Comment : I called Uptown Moving & Storage for my move and I am glad that I did. After their timely arrival, they reviewed the task and started wrapping and loading up the truck swiftly and professionally. They protected my furniture very well; there was not a scratch on any item. The whole move was done in such a systematic way. The movers were organized in every step of the way. You can’t possibly find better movers anywhere else. When they reached my new home to deliver, they maneuvered all boxes and other furniture in my desired places. Gladly recommended.
