Comment : MOVING??? BEWARE of SUN CITY movers. My worst moving experience EVER. This company lures you in with a low estimate and savy sales rep, then hits you with a huge bill upon delivery of your stuff. I was charged multiple undisclosed fees for almost every piece of furniture that was loaded to the truck. The foreman Mike came in with his crew swooped in and started shrink wrapping our sofa's, beds ("because it may rain" he said)at the time of pick up. Adding 20 dollars for this and 40 dollars to wrap that -- mike insisted he was just a worker, it is not his fault. He is just doing what he was told. We ended up moving several pieces of ourselves because of all the additional fees. They showed up a day early and started grabbing stuff that was not even ready to go. Their plan was to use most of the estimated time for the move when they came and then charge for extra hours when they delivered my goods. My sales rep called me while on my way to meet the movers in the new city to tell me my bill had doubled. He expressed disbelief after I explained how it went the night before. He had "no idea" that the crew came early the night before. He told me don't worry he would handle it - give us a discount (fix it) and call me back. He never did. He left and went home. So MIKE presented me with the bill upon delivery. Which I disputed and tried to call his manager and my sales rep. But the "dispatcher" indicated everyone left for the weekend and that I should go get cash or money order or they would put my belongings in storage and would not know when they would be back to deliver them. They held the stuff hostage on the truck and extorted cash/money order for double the original estimate. The contract indicated you could use a credit card to pay but they would not accept a credit card even though the bill was way more than I was originally told it would be. I ended up driving around the strange new city and pulling some strings to try to come up with the additional cash to pay to get my belongings delivered. HORRIBLE business!!! STAY AWAY

Comment : Atlant Van Lines had their license to operate on pulled on Oct 3 2016 due to numerous customer complaints regarding fraud, extortion, and theft which were investigated and proven to valid. Factors that affect the rating for Atlant Van Lines, LLC include: Length of time business has been operating. 18 complaints filed against business 4 complaints filed against business that were not resolved. Upon inspecting my mothers load: half of what was listed out on the bill of lading documented at the point of pickup expected to be in the storage was missing (4 tvs, xbox, large dresser, computers...) and alot of her things (antiques) were damaged. The owner of the storage facility that Atlant used to store my mothers things (until she could DIRECT DEPOSIT an EXTRA $2k into their account) told us that the movers who showed up to unload her possessions treated them 'very disrespectfully; tossing her boxes out of the truck AND man-handling her furniture'. Furthermore, he was told if he did not hear from anyone by the time the bill came due, to keep the contents of the storage and auction them off for payment. The light at the end of this tunnel, the owner showed us video storage drop off. CLEARLY, the mover was literally throwing my mothers belongings into the storage. Shoving an antique table (that has been in my moms family since the late 1800's) so hard into the side of the unit that you can see a piece of the table fly off and land outside the unit. The man picks it up and throws it to the back of the unit. The same table (due to the shove) had one of its legs ripped from the table so it was just hanging there. We were given a copy of the video. With that and the 2 recorded phone calls, multiple emails, voicemail's and texts...our primary mission in life...see that they are finally made to PAY THE PIPER. What did I find out today? Most of the positive reviews made about Atlant Van Lines and their other holding companies were made by people who provide written positive reviews as a service: $1 per review and $50 for a full page of BS!
