Comment : Tried to give them 0 stars, but it would not let me. Below is a copy of my Yelp review. Be sure to check out their Better Business Bureau reviews. Also the NY Attorney General recently brought a case against them for not paying their workers and they ended up settling for $350,000. This company has proven to be disgusting in every way. I have been waiting to write this review because I was hoping to come to a resolution with Shleppers regarding our problems. That hasn't happened. Full disclosure: This move happened at the end of August of '13 and we have been going through our Credit Card company to try to resolve the issue. This has been hands-down the worst experience I have ever had with a business. I want to try to keep this short so people read it and benefit from it. My wife and I hired Shleppers to move us from a small one-bedroom apartment on the Upper West Side to a one-bedroom apartment in Inwood. The movers they sent were unable to perform the move. By the end of the day I had called friends to help us. My friends, my wife and I moved 90% our stuff from the moving truck into the new apartment including ALL of the furniture. I also spent the entire next day shuttling back and forth between apartments bringing the stuff they had left behind in our old apartment. Some of the reasons the movers could not move us include: They sent movers who had injuries and were unable to lift things, They sent movers who could not communicate with each other due to language
