Comment : Moved out of my very first apartment into a new one earlier this week. I only had them move my furniture and heavy stuff for me but they were great! I'm a slight procrastinator and barely had anything ready to move but they weren't rude about it or anything. Great price too! Already told all my fb friends to use them too!

Comment : Richard with Red Raider Moving moved me from an Apartment to my new house. Him and his partner worked hard and charged me exactly what the estimate was. I would use them again and refer my family.

Comment : In short: don’t even bother with these duds. I enlisted Red Raider in Sept after a relative passed away; we needed to move their belongings from Westgate Self Storage to Bob Gore’s Auction House. It took me four separate attempts across two days to get a callback from the owner, Ryan. They were scheduled to meet us at Westgate at 1pm on September 21st. We arrived early to clear out the unit and make easier for the movers to load the truck. At 12:15 Ryan text they were delayed by two hours. My main concern was Bob Gore’s Auction House closes at 5pm and we’d miss the delivery cutoff. Ryan asked to move the pickup to the next day at 8am, which meant reloading the storage unit and doing it all over again tomorrow. Instead I called Bob Gore who was beyond kind and courteous, assuring us he’d stay open as long as we needed to get this done. Afterward I reached out to Ryan and received no response for two and half hours. At 2:43pm, when his crew was supposed to arrive in 17 minutes, he informed me they were delayed ANOTHER two hours. Now they wouldn’t arrive until 5pm at the earliest. I told Ryan this whole thing was very unprofessional, prompting him to become argumentative. He claimed he informed us of their right to delay a service within 30 minutes of the appointment. I do not recall such a disclaimer. But regardless, even if I had been informed of such a policy, he violated those terms with the second delay notification that arrived only 17 minutes before their supposed 3pm arrival. Ryan then said he didn’t want to do business with us and cancelled the contract altogether, leaving us high and dry after hours of stringing us along. I contacted Bob Gore to let him know what was going on. As someone who’s been in business since 1958 he couldn’t believe what happened. Next I informed the manager of Westgate Self Storage who was equally appalled and kindly referred us to ZipDog. Imagine our shock when a real person answered the phone on the first call. ZipDog was very helpful and booked us for the following day. Their prices were lower than Red Raiders AND on top of that they offered an additional discount. Red Raider left us pretty jaded that day but Bob Gore, Westgate, and ZipDog more than made up for their lack of professionalism. As an Amarillo native who attended Texas Tech I think it’s terrible this unreliable company shares the name of our beloved University mascot.

Comment : We had the best experience with this moving service! Shannon and Rod were very careful with our furniture and other items. They took time to wrap our furniture and make sure it was safe and secure. They were respectful, prompt and hard workers. We went from a 2900 sq ft to a storage unit and 1100 sq ft apartment with steep stairs. In a 100 degree day. They had such great attitudes- my husband and I were impressed! We will definitely be using them again when we move again into our house that is currently being built. And to family and friends! Best experience we have had!

Comment : I scheduled the move several weeks out, not knowing if the place we were moving into would be ready for us. I checked the reschedule policy and just needed to give two days notice, which I ended up having to do, and no problem. Got a new date and time ten days later. I received a confirmation call and email 24 hours in advance, requested some additional wardrobe boxes, which actually came on the day of the move! Corey took great care wrapping our furniture and protecting the new floors. The team was efficient and neat and we would recommend/use them again.

Comment : From the moment of requesting a quote until the very last piece of furniture was moved these guys were wonderful to work with. They're professional, thorough, and really work at a great pace to get everything moved. I absolutely hate moving but Red Raider Moving simplified it. I would 100% recommend them and will use them again if the opportunity arises.

Comment : WORST experience ever!! Do not use this moving company! The only time the owner answers his phone is when he books you. Didn't show up the first day the move was scheduled and was 2 hours late the day it was rescheduled for. Believe what the BBB says. The owner will tell you a huge lie why he has such a poor rating. But from the experience we had, he earns every poor, miserable rating he gets. He also holds your furniture hostage when you disagree with him on the price (him sending extra guys for you to pay for when you didn't agree to it (whom didn't hardly work)). He tells the drivers of his truck to return the furniture back to the old house and put it on the lawn. After BEGGING him to please just bring it to the new house, he agrees only when you say you'll pay him in cash and pay the amount HE requests. The workers also load SO slow that they run the clock up so you have to pay more. I could go on and on for hours about the experience we had with him. If you take anythin

Comment : This is an outstanding group of men! I can't express how thrilled I am that I chose them to help me move from my rental to my new home. First off, Ryan was very informative and helped me make some economical decisions as it related to my move. I moved out of my rental November 13 (Sunday) and they guys came over and broke-down all of my furniture and packed it on the U-haul I rented since I wasn't due to close for a few weeks. They did this in 3.0 hours! Everything was wrapped with furniture pads and shrink wrap! They were so nice, I spoke with all 4 of the guys on the 1st leg of this move. My closing came on November 30 and when I called the day before, they were able to switch an appointment and get my truck unloaded and all my furniture assembled before my 6:30pm deadline to return the truck. Enrique, Jesse and Jonathan were great! Very friendly and very conscious of my things and making sure they were placed neatly and carefully. If you need a moving company then you must use Red Raider Moving. Their prices are more than reasonable for their customer service is above average. Thank you all so much for such an awesome job and for making my move effortless!

Comment : ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY TO HIRE Did not show at scheduled time, did not call. We called and they were running 3 hours late. Showed up close to 4 hours late. Severely damaged several pieces of new furniture and tore a brand new king mattress. Took hardware to another bed and left bed propped up as if it was connected to headboard. Office personnel was no help when we complained. Absolutely unprofessional Pay attention to all the terrible reviews I wish I had

Comment : They showed up on time & approx 10 minutes later I had to leave to do an errand, my daughter arrived approx 10 minutes after I left & I mover was leaning against a wall texting while the other was sitting, talking on the phone. When they saw her they said they were updating their boss on their "progress" so far. Many times they banged my furniture against doors & walls, also when they used a hand-truck they would not use any padding, They just laid my furniture right on the metal.

Comment : Me and my Hubby used Red Raider Moving Monday 1-21-2013. We loved our experience. We had a difficult move. We were moving out of our rent house into our newly built house, but had a huge storage unit as well. We ended up using six guys and used four trucks. The move went well and the guys are very polite and hard working!! P.S. My sister used them a year and a half ago to move to Dallas and she loved them as well!! Thank you Red Raider Moving, I will refer you to all Beth A

Comment : They did a great job moving our washer/dryer, couch and dresser from our 3rd story apartment to our new house about 8 miles away with no problems. Using a large Dolley 2 guys unhooked, plastic wrapped and brought down the dryer and then the washer. One guy then carried/balanced our couch on his head and walked it down to the truck while the other guy wrapped the dresser in plastic wrap. They both walked the dresser down to the truck and followed me to the new house. Once there the only problem was that the dryer required a 3 prong cord (we had a 4 prong) and the washer cold water hookup had a rubber hose that was rusted stuck. They didn't want to put too much pressure and break it so they hooked up the rubber hose for now. All in all a good experience because I didn't want to do that myself!
