Comment : We would give Ramar a rating of 80%. They were wonderful giving us a quote and were very friendly. However, our possessions had to go into storage. There were a lot of nicks on furniture, which we fixed ourselves. Also some items were missing- a cushion for a chair, table pads, We got a quote to replace these items and Ramar only paid for a portion of the amount that were missing. Also, we had items fixed before their adjuster came out - and per their contract, they said they were not liable to do those repairs. We wound up absorbing several thousand dollars in repairs and missing items.

Comment : I just contacted Ramar Moving Systems Inc to shift my office to Frederick From the beginning itself everything was perfect. Initially they asked me to fill the form. Then they explained me the full procedure. The employers were very friendly and professional. On the day of packing they came to my office on the correct time and immediately started their work. They packed all the items quickly. What a team! Their dedication and sincerity really impressed me. To make it short Great American Van Lines was wonderful in all aspects. Only thing to be complained is the cost. They charge a little more than others. Or otherwise everything is good.

Comment : We had a horrible experience with Ramar. The crew who moved our furniture out were friendly but took little care in looking to see that boxes were marked fragile and these were treated if they contained plastic items. We had an unfortunate bad experience that our house buyers backed out of settlement an hour before closing and we had to have our furniture moved back into our house. This is where the real nightmare began. The crew had to unload our furniture and boxes from a tractor trailer back onto another truck and then bring back to our home. They threw boxes around and broke multiple items, broke antique furniture, put scratches and gouges in our dining room bedroom and living room furniture and even dented the weights on our grandfather clock. We contacted Ramar and the president of the company sent us an email asking about our concerns but after receiving them never bothered to respond in anyway. We would NEVER use Mayflower and especially Ramar in the future and would NEVER recommend them to move anything for anyone.

Comment : I have used Ramar moving twice. Ramar moving is one of the best movers in the Frederick area. From customer service to the movers service was top notch. Will not hesitate to use again. Strongly recommend to others.
