Peasley Transfer & Storage began operation in 1890. In the 121 years since the company was started, there have only been 3 owners. The owner, Emmet Herndon, joined the firm in 1945. Emmet, a World War II B-24 Navigator and Williams College graduate, serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer. The company has been at its current location since 1962. We have expanded our operations since then to include over 60,000 square feet of warehouse space, two 8,000 square foot mini-storage buildings, a large four-bay garage with mechanics, and an outside storage yard. Peasley became an agent for Allied Van Lines in 1929. Emmet is a past director of Allied and the National Moving & Storage Association. He is past president of the Idaho Movers & Warehouseman s Associate, Idaho Employers Council, Capital city Kiwanis, Boise Jaycees, Boise Executive Association, and Boise Racquet & Swim Club. Peasley has enjoyed being in the top 50 Allied agents out of 452 for the past 11 years in the Quality Assurance program. This honor is based upon customer service responses involving satisfaction with Peasley, as well as with Allied Van Lines.

Comment : I thought that the entire thing would turn out to be a nightmare as I had too many possessions that needed moving. It was also on a very short notice and the weather was bad too! You could imagine how much I was dreading the whole thing as nothing was right. But Peasley movers really saved me! Everything was done so easily and they didn’t let anything affect them. The whole thing went out so smoothly that I couldn’t believe that it was so easy. Best crew ever! They had everything that they needed and they were so organized. They just finished their jobs promptly and left with friendly smiles on their faces.

Comment : I had some Costco furniture delivered by Peasley Transfer & Storage this past Friday. Had several updates via phone regarding the delivery options and date and they worked with my schedule. The crew was right on time and quick to get everything inside; Cisco and Robert were great. One piece of furniture was damaged in the box (probably when packed as the exterior of the box was undamaged) but Costco took care of it. I hope the same crew delivers the replacement piece- they were very professional
