Comment : This was one of the most infuriating experiences I’ve ever had. Olympus is not only disorganized and poor at communicating with customers, they don’t even talk to each other. We were given a widow of 4-10 business days for our stuff to arrive and after 9 days with no update we called and were told it would be that weekend. THEN we get informed after everything should have arrived that it will be at the end of the next week. Despite our stuff arriving an entire week late, we were assured we would be “compensated”. Compensation was counted at $62 per business day, which conveniently took advantage of the three-day weekend to not even give us the full amount we were actually delayed. This amounted to about 3% of what we paid and was completely offset by the random fees they applied at the door. We were already charged substantially more than we were quoted, which I can understand since we do have a decent amount of stuff and no other mover did a much better job of quoting our cubic footage. But despite giving our updated address (on the phone and in writing!) four different times to the sales and admin teams, nobody informed the driver who called us the day before with the wrong address. When we corrected him, he informed us he would need to look at our street to make sure his truck would fit. He did not and showed up at another incorrect address before finally arriving a block from our apartment complaining that his truck was too large for our street and we would need to pay an additional $500 for a shuttle and wait an additional day. After explaining that our stuff was already a week late and that nobody had told us we’d need a shuttle, he dismissed it as a footnote in the contract and said that he would pull the massive truck up but that we would be responsible for any fines. Then with the truck there and movers waiting, he tells us we owe an additional $275 for the fact we were on the 2nd floor, which again, we had already told the company repeatedly. So even after getting a money order for our final delivery, a requirement we weren’t notified of until 8pm the night before, I had to run out to get cash to pay twice the amount we had even been discounted in the first place just to make sure our stuff was not held hostage. The actual movers were fine. The guys that came to Queens were helpful and the gentlemen that moved us outside the city were perfectly pleasant; but even with that said we still ended up with damage to a few pieces of furniture and had to throw out several broken glasses when we finally got to unpack. Working with Olympus was an infuriating process after we had signed the contract. You might be tempted to go with them as you’ll probably receive the best quote and friendly service from the initial sales rep, but you’ll almost certainly pay much more than that and have to play a guessing game to figure out when or if you’ll ever get your stuff. Comment : We were moving in the worst rain of the year but never found any hiccups. Even they finished a moving ahead of schedule. They could not have been more cooperative and helpful. Everything was transported swiftly and efficiently at a new location. They took care of delicate items and securely wrapped them. The cost of service was very reasonable and support was phenomenal.

Comment : Olympus Moving and Storage blew us away with their hard work and efficiency. The movers were courteous, professional, and knew what they were doing. I had them come out and pack for me the day before. They brought all their supplies with them for packing. They didn't seem to overcharge for the supplies they used. I was actually very pleased with that part. 5 stars for that! I've had other companies bring their own stuff but charge 5 times the usual cost. My wife thought 4 stars. I am thinking 4.5 stars but I am giving them 5 stars because they didn't nickel and dime me for the supplies they brought when packing for us. One thing I hate most is when companies nickel and dime me for everything. (Especially hotels). Also, they were really flexible and really good with last minute changes. I called them the day before to have them come pack for us because I tried but couldn't finish it. I also called them the week of the move to change the date/time because of last minute work issues. Comment : When I called to get an estimate and schedule a move I talked to Sarone who couldn't have been more helpful. Over the next few weeks I was able to provide additional information and ask questions. I had to change my move date twice and both times they were very accommodating. My move was scheduled for 9:00 AM and Olympus Movers arrived right on time. They came in, quickly evaluated the move, got the paperwork out of the way and went right to work. They were very quick but they also took the time to make sure everything was wrapped or strapped correctly. Comment : Olympus Moving and Storage were great. They helped us move two apartments in the city and really helped take the stress from us. They were fast, efficient, and thorough. Typically I would be worried to let movers move my beautiful cream-colored couches and matching chairs - in fear of dirt markings, etc., but Olympus Movers took good care of my stuff as if it were their own. Thanks Olympus Moving and Storage and thank you Chris for hooking a girl up. I will definitely recommend you to anyone/everyone I know who needs a good, solid moving company.

Comment : We were thoroughly impressed by the efficiency and economy of our move. I highly recommend Olympus Moving. We recently made a long distance move and needed someone to unload our truck once we got to the new house. I contacted Olympus Moving and Storage online and got a response from Sarone almost immediately. He answered all my questions and he was very helpful. When we arrived here the movers called ahead of time to let us know that they were on their way and once they were here they worked fast and efficiently. Olympus movers were very polite and professional. They were very careful with all of our belonging and were careful not to bump into any walls or doors. They made every effort to put everything in the place we wanted and even offered to help put the furniture's back together if we needed it. Olympus Moving and Storage were great in every aspect and we would definitely use them again. Their price was really reasonable too. These guys are great!

Comment : I decided to go with Olympus Moving and Storage because of all the five star reviews. After my move I can absolutely see why they've gotten such awesome reviews! I had a short notice regarding my move so I needed to find movers and fast. I booked my move with Olympus Moving and Storage about a week in advance and all my communications with them were great. They got back to me with a quote right away, and every time I called their office they were super helpful and friendly. Olympus Movers got to my house right at the scheduled time and called half an hour before they got there to let me know they were on their way. They were so careful moving all the furniture's, and made sure not to scrape any of the walls. When they arrived to my new house, they even moved a washer and dryer downstairs that I wasn't going to be using since I had my own. Comment : This was my second time using movers, so I knew what to expect. I had called around to at least 5 different moving companies to get the best bid for my move. What stuck out the most to me with Olympus Moving and Storage was that they had a professional looking website, and the quote that was sent to me was professional. From everyone else I had received everything from just a verbal quote, to just a plain text format quote - I know all of that sounds irrelevant, but when you're dealing with your possessions, you want to make sure you are working with a real professional and legit business. With all of that being said, I didn't have to haggle at all with Olympus Moving and Storage, and I even spoke to them a couple of times because they wanted to confirm all of my information and make sure everything was ready on my side. Thank goodness my friend Chris recommended Olympus Moving and Storage. They did a great job at an amazing price. I have moved a few times during the last 12 years but this was by far the best experience ever. It was a large job consisting of various pieces of heavy and large furniture's and to make it even more difficult, the day of the move the weather did not cooperate at all. It was raining the entire day, nonstop with continuous rain but that did not affect the job of the movers. Olympus Movers were very professional and careful with all my belongings taking extra care to wrap everything so that the rain would not ruin anything. They were fast, efficient and unbelievable in the attention to detail. Comment : Olympus Moving and Storage were wonderful. It was my first time hiring professional movers and I was a bit nervous, but they immediately put me at ease. The movers were very professional, efficient, and friendly. They did a wonderful job of moving all my stuff in a careful and prompt manner - including a bunch of fragile arts and furniture's, which they transported safely and securely. I am planning to move again in the next few months and the first thing that I will do after looking at places is give Olympus Moving and Storage a call to make sure they can move me again.
