Comment : After reading online Yelp reviews my roommates and I decided to go with NorthStar Moving Company. When we reached out to the company via email the representative we were connected with was incredibly helpful: he provided moving tips, cost estimates, and gave us a general idea of what to expect with the move. When the day of the move came everything fell into place -- no hassles or problems at all. We hired three movers (Carlos, Roberto, and Mario) and boy did they make our lives easy. They dealt with all of the boxes and heavy furniture with ease. They were on time, communicative, and respectful of our new condo -- we had new carpet installed so they put down mats when they moved.

Comment : Was moving from SF to DC, and NorthStar provided me the most affordable quote by far out of the 10+ companies I contacted. They were prompt, fast, and professional, and my stuff ended up arriving in DC way faster than I had expected. Overall just a really smooth experience. Highly recommend!

Comment : My move with Northstar Moving Transportation Co went smooth and seamless, I wasn't sure what to expect since this was my first time hiring a professional moving company, but let me tell you it was well worth it. I've moved on my own a couple times and I always end up hurting my back, so I figured hiring a moving company is better than paying expensive hospital bills. The movers did a great job with the move, they were fast and made sure everything was well packed and carefully put inside of the truck. The delivery was timely and there was zero damage to my furniture, which had been an issue during my last move. I couldn't be happier with how the move turned out. I would definitely recommend Northstar Moving Transportation Co

Comment : OMG did I ever regret not using these guys during my last move. The guys arrived just a little after 8:00 AM and I was told they would be there between 8-10 AM. They were ready to get the show on the road even though I had an enormous amount of boxes and antiques. They protected my heirlooms and treated my plants with respect and protected them so they wouldnt break during the ride as if it were their own property they were moving, which I really appreciated. I was amazed at how quick it was for them to load and ready to get on the road within 3 hours which is about what we all expected they would take and as we found stuff they didnt realize they had to take, they made room in the truck to make sure all my valuables went with them safely. The crew moved at a speed I had never seen before and the ride was quicker than everyone expected. It only took them 1 hour which they thought it would be about 1 hr 15 min to 1 hr 30 min. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved at the speed
