Comment : I called Moving APT and talked to a gentleman by the name of Pete. I checked a couple of other companies, and all the information he gave me, the price and how they operate, I was very satisfied with. When they picked the stuff up, two gentlemen were there. I was very surprised how efficient they were in packing and how fast. In two and a half hours, they had the stuff packed and loaded. When Paul first gave me the price, he asked me how many boxes and totes I had have, and I told him I was not sure. He figured so many there, and he said if there was more or less, they had adjust the price. We paid a down payment and the two payments afterwards, and they were pretty close to what they were. It was an excellent experience with Moving APT.

Comment : Do not use Moving APT for your move. They are a 3rd party mover who contracts with the company which will move your goods. They collected over $6,600 and refused to move the goods and return the monies spent. Here is the story: After some 10 + moves over 60 years my wife (who has dementia and Parkinson’s) and I at age 80+, contract with a 3rd party mover (Moving APT Inc - Miami, FL) in May 2025 to pack and move household goods in a one bedroom apartment from VA to MO. (800 Miles). Due to our health we had to have a turn key move. Two years prior we paid $4,300 to move the same goods from MO to VA. We paid Moving Apt $3,800 up front with credit cards. They, not me, hire a carrier named Best Choice Moving Services (Raleigh, NC). They arrive at 10PM on 24 May. Immediately driver presented me with a blank Bill of Lading which I refused to sign. Driver said no packing and moving without signing. Agreed to sign if the same quoted dollar amount $3,800 and a 29 May delivery date were kept. He said of course. After packing and wrapping some of the goods he demanded $2862.68 in cash before he would load the goods. He now completes the Bill of Lading showing $9,400 as the new total. A $5,600 increase and he states he has 21 days to deliver the goods. This far exceeded the 29 May date agreed upon by Moving APT Inc. Driver took the cash and then said he must unload the current partial load going to New York in a warehouse. I told him to load boxes and furniture into the current available space. He refused to load the truck. I said take one piece of furniture and load it, he refused again. At that time I cancelled the job with him and informed Moving APT Inc. that I was cancelling due to non-performance. Driver would not give back cash and he did not address the damage he had done to the four apartment walls. I have to pay an additional $900 to the lessor. He departed with the cash. I rented a Penske truck the next day, loaded it and transported goods to final destination. I requested Moving APT refund money and they refused. They said Best Choice Moving Services LLC had already delivered the goods and were paid. I said Best Choice Moving Services did not move any goods. Moving APT requested info on truck I rented for $2,800 which I emailed to them. Shortly after I receive a call from Best Choice Moving Services requesting info on truck I had rented. I asked for refund of cash payment and they refused. Said they were filing with insurance company and they would subtract their time and material costs from any refund. I could expect a 90 day delay. Both companies failed to do what they were paid to do and that was pack, move and unload our household goods. I paid both moving companies over $6,600 to move our goods and an additional $2,800 to rent a Penske truck all totaling $9,400. Both companies took the money without completing the job and tried telling me they had already delivered the goods. The photo shows the 29 Ft. Penske truck I rented to haul the goods in less than 625 Cu. Ft.

Comment : It was excellent with Moving APT. Their price was better, and compared to the big commercial movers, they were willing to do a smaller move. We sent them an inventory of what we had, and they were able to estimate the poundage and do it that way. They returned phone calls, showed up when they were supposed to show up, and got the stuff straight through North Carolina. Everything from A to Z was spot-on. I would use them again in a second.

Comment : I had a storage unit down in Florida and I come back to New Hampshire. I was wondering how to get it from there to here. I was doing some searches and Moving APT called me and asked if I was interested. They gave me the details and the price. It sounded good so I did it. I had one little glitch when I had to make sure they were doing one of two days because I was only gonna be there for three. I got off the plane, turned on my phone, and they went, "See you Thursday." I go, "Uh-uh. I'm leaving Thursday." In the end, it got worked out. On moving day, three guys came to do the pickup. They were fast and they knew what they were doing. There were some things that I never got into another box and their guy said, "I'm putting all the loose stuff in here." That was fine. I had a friend's photo in that, which was cracked already, and they wanted to make sure, "Did we do this?" I go, "No, no, it was like that. Don't worry." I had college hunks moving junk from my condo there and they broke a few things. The move took a few weeks. During the delivery, they came a day earlier than expected and that was fine. I was talking to them and they were telling me that they were in Buffalo and then they will be up in Burlington. I don't know how they keep it all tracked down. The things were in different sections and there were different openings on the things so they get right into what they needed to. They called me to make sure that they could get their big truck in where my place is and to make it as smooth as possible. They stacked the things in the storage unit up here beautifully. It was cold and we were freezing. I gave them 100 and told them to warm up and have dinner. I just felt I needed to.
