Comment : Thieves and liars 1. They made me sign a contract of $2500 saying we are charging you higher but this will come down after we weigh your items. They added like 300 pounds for twin mattress which was only 30 pounds. Now I was waiting for weigh ticket and they said we dont have weight ticket since you agreed to pay $3300 flat fee and I said I have never agreed , They said the storage employee signed the contract where they picked my home good he signed contract. I disagreed and informed them I did not sign or even see the contract and so I will not pay. They refused to deliver . I ended up paying $3300 since I needed my home which was delayed delivery by 3-4 days. They said they will not deliver since truck was unable to turn and so I ended up hiring local movers to move to them I paid $500. Now finally after I got my boxes back. I noticed all the boxes were cut open and all the valuables from inside were missing. More boxes I opened I realized they stole all my home goods that were of any resell value like xbox one , ps4 , leather chair, comforter sets, Jackets, Shoes and much more I called them right away and they said we are not responsible file a claim . I filed a claim but it was of no use. I checked online they had so many reviews of similar complaints and now Its my life mission to shut this company down for betterment of society

Comment : I put down a $500 deposit after being assured I could cancel my move and get my deposit back. I cancelled my move a few days later and was told they would credit my $500 to my card in a few days. A week later and no credit I called again and was told they would take care of the credit at once. Another week and no credit. I called again and they told me I someone would call me back the next day. No one called so I am disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Comment : The name stands justified! Joy Moving and Storage Company is phenomenal! We had no glitch the whole while! It was an awesome experience! We had absolutely no issues with them. The crew was excellent. My expectations were met without damaging any of property. It was a complete stress free move! They were so careful with the fragile articles! The crew was so courteous and friendly and made me feel relaxed. I had 3 kids to handle and I was definitely nervous about the whole thing. But they did their job so well. I was impressed with them. I can’t find one thing to complain about. The price was reasonable too. These guys are one of the best movers ever. I am so glad I chose them. I would recommend them to everyone. I’ll call you guys if I ever have to move again. Thank you guys!

Comment : We are military and have a lot of moving experience in different countries. This was the first time we had to pay for our move and thus picked the company. I had four companies come to our house and give us estimates. Being active duty military I have a very transient lifestyle and have made many moves in my 17 plus years of service. I recently used this company to move from Chesapeake, Va. to Herndon, Va. I've never seen a more coordinated, efficient, careful, and helpful bunch of men. Rick assured me they would be good, but I had no idea! Joy Moving And Storage were not the cheapest, but fairly priced. Their customer service is phenomenal!

Comment : Oct 08, 2013 Thanks for not letting me down My best friend recently lost her husband and needed to move things from her home in Florida to New Jersey. She was not used to having to deal with these types of things at all and was panicking. The movers she contacted really gave her a hard time. She asked me to help in talking to movers and help get her move started. These guys were professional from the very first phone call to the last piece of material they had to remove, The move was such a breeze all I had to do was tell them were to put things and sign a check, The foreman Will was a gentlemen and knew his craft well. The price was great too, thanks Joy Moving And Storage! I have a canopy bed for my daughter that I swore they wouldn't be able to figure out but they had all the proper tools and know how to take it apart, pack it and most importantly reassemble it so my daughter had a place to rest her head.

Comment : A number of discount packages plus a free of cost initial quote makes it an ideal deal to make. Being elderly and disabled I really need to watch my finances and the things that I have are very important to me. So when my husband passed away and i wanted to move to San Francisco to be closer to my sister choosing a moving company seemed like a daunting task. After speaking to what seemed liked endless movers I choose Joy Moving And Storage because the cost was reasonable and NaKesha put me at ease about the move. When my move day came, the movers were very professional, fast and very patient, they took their time to wrap all my large furniture (including my game room with the pool table and pinball machine), I have used their FREE 30 days of storage, and when my home was finally ready, they showed up, and put everything in place. I could not ask for more!!!

Comment : I found Joy Moving And Storage online, and I saw they were recommended mover out of Tennessee, so I requested a free Online quote. I had to be out of my House in Tennessee for a sudden Job relocation/Promotion and I needed a quick but complicated move. When they packed me up and moved me out they even cleaned up behind themselves removing any tape rolls and all materials. They did a walk through with me and explained the process in a way that made me comfortable. They have been properly trained for handling heavier objects, they have specialized equipment for managing the load (especially when heavier objects have to be dragged down from 3rd or 4th floor of a building) and they have a very solid attitude for bring perfection in their job. Once you know which way your ship has to sail, the sailing itself becomes an effortless job. I also have a lot of appreciation for their online customer support service and I feel that they doing are quite a nice job. Love the way their customer services reps respond to the queries since it makes life easier for the customers. On the whole, it is never a tough task to communicate and work with them!

Comment : I'll try and make this as short as possible. I had to move from FL because of a recent divorce and i had to go back with my folks in TX , as stressful as that is moving is another story. So I put my information on a website and a few movers called me. I heard all the spills from each company but something stood out about Raphael and Joy Moving And Storage. They called 30 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive. They arrived 10 minutes early and completed the job promptly. Kolby, Terrance, and Marco were very respectful and friendly.They arrived with plenty of boxes and taps and other moving related materials. Our belongings were shrink wrapped. They brought moving blanket also for some fragile glasses, vessels and kitchen items. I was especially concern for my treadmill and a grand piano. The brilliantly handled these large and sensitive items. I found no problem with my stuffs. I am determined to hire them for my next move and would highly recommend them for people who plan to.

Comment : Sometime, I don't understand why anyone hires a mover with low cost. I am not against lower rate but maximum time it doesn't work for the best. Its definitely not possible to buy a Mercedes for the cost of mini car. Consequently they always get swindled. Its really horrible. I think I was the luckiest one. I was just astounded with the work of relocation solution. They scored hundred percent marks in the process of my move from New Jersey to Illinois.The movers knew the strategy about how to solve any unexpected situation. The folks used building block to carry the big size wooden table as this was not coming through the entrance/exit door. My wife and I wrapped almost everything except furniture in the earlier night of moving. I don€žt think every item was accurately packed by us. There was only a tiny crack on a flower pot when delivered. We understood it was for our inefficiency. Their primary quotation turned out equal to the final estimate. The expert crews delivered our all items with no lost or breakage. Though there was insurance from the company but I didn't have to claim for any coverage.

Comment : A friend of mine told me about her experience with Joy Moving And Storage on her move after graduating from Law School. I liked what I heard and decided I would give them a call. The sales rep, Cassandra, was so helpful in explaining everything and taking the time to answer all of my questions. Joy Moving And Storage moved me to my new place in AZ from CA without any errors, any delay or any other unwanted circumstances. The movers themselves, led by Derrick were dressed neatly in uniform and extremely polite. I could tell this wasn't their first time as they literally flew around my home packing and wrapping everything. All the movers were young and strong enough to hoist heavy items spontaneously. They left with a warm goodbye and 6 days later I received a call from their operations department that my delivery would be there within 36 hours. Not a single damage done to any of my belongings completed the entire move a lot earlier than the estimated time and charged the same amount mentioned in the initial quote. There was nothing more I could have asked for. Thank you! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Comment : I work with a vendor in CA State so I am always the one seeking out movers or shipping companies to bring our merchandises to our clients. When our regular moving company couldn't give me service any more, I was forced to look elsewhere for a new one! Denise made sure the moving process will start and end as planned, so to speak, and then Raphael along with his crew of Joy Moving And Storage showed up with such a sunny disposition and went to work. They finished the whole move nearly on schedule (about 45 min more but thats ok). They were so fast it was incredible and had all my belongings arrived in great conditions. They were pleasant to watch, efficient and maneuvered every item with care. Thanks for taking the stress out of the process!

Comment : They moved my apartment as well as my mothers to Virginia. We originally told them we were moving to D.C. and they gave us a special rate, but I found out I was moving a bit north - and they still gave it to us at the same rate! Here are the reasons why I made my apartment changing with Joy Moving And Storage- 1. The representative was very polite and answered my all questions' 2. They were early on both ends 3. Moving team was pleasant, fast and polite 4. Good communication 5. My all belongings were transferred safely without any damages or scratches 6. Price of the service was cheap. They are not amateurs experimenting with your precious belongings. They knew how they would handle different objects, which objects to be loaded and unloaded first, which objects to be given extra care and caution and in what time to complete the move! Amazing!

We were shifting to East Florida that week and moving our gigantic furniture and glassy material was such a huge tension for me. I wasn't hesitant to use a mover but I am glad I did. Driving 2000 miles would have been hell and for the price I paid I think it was almost cheaper than doing it myself. Though it was pretty hectic to drag down heavy furniture articles from second floor to ground floor and then shifting those to first floor 39 miles away, but I am very happy that they made it look extremely easy. Comment : For somebody reading my review about this brand of movers, it would be my heartfelt suggestion to try them out if you need a long distance move, so I once heard somebody saying, "Yes, Joy Moving And Storage movers are good but they are really costly." And today I wonder who said so and why really! I had to shift cartons of computer accessories (hard disks, tablets, laptops, LED's etc) to some 74 miles in Florida. Considering the nature of merchandise I had, you can well understand how conscious I might have been in the selection of the movers. And thanks God I wasn't mistaken with my choice. Comment : I am very happy and also lucky that I have selected a reliable moving company to relocate our new destination NY in 31of August. I was moved across country from a 3-level, 3-bedroom townhouse to a 3-level, stand-alone residence. They sent me a 4-man crew and one large truck. We have a lot of antiques and fragile items that they did an outstanding job securely packaging and transporting for us. Not one item was broken, scuffed, or banged up. They provided all, the packing tape, blankets, and boxes for items we didn't have packed already like our big flat screen TV's, large mirrors, and glass decor. It was more than a 100% professional move. I even saved some money just by listening to their friendly tips. Comment : I would just like to express my sincere gratitude for all the things you have done for my move. With husband being away in abroad and myself living remotely at another state, this move seemed to be a formidable task. I had my moving day yesterday and not only did they show up on time (early, actually), but they seemed prepared and ready to move my crap and never complained once, even when we found out the freight elevator was out of order in my new building and they had to share the passenger elevator and stairs. They even helped put things together and made sure everything was in the right place before they left. AND they took my old couch out to the dumpster for me! They were also very patient with my extremely yappy dog who wasn't happy that I crated him while the movers were there. I am so glad that I chose Joy Moving Storage. You just made it so easy. Comment : From the initial phone call to the final delivery date, I was being acquainted with an excellent mover. They came out to our condo and made a correct calculation. They carefully wrapped my all furniture, traditional and delicate items. They worked their butts off to get done everything on time and they did. I was thinking for my kitchen. But they handed over all my utensils at the new apartment without a single glitch. They were prompt, cautious and skilled. I moved out of a 2 bed room apartment into a small house in Texas. Since Joy Moving Storage sent four persons, it took short time to finish the work. They took down our beds, couches, big tables, mirror, tv and many other items. They maintained the delivery spread window. The guys, who came to deliver, unloaded and reassembled my stuffs. They decorated my furniture and other items (it was not pre defined).

Comment : After calling several companies to compare prices, Element was the only one that followed up as they said they would with a written e-mail stating what they told me over the phone. A few days later a friendly follow up phone call from Denise just to see if we had any questions about the quote. She was friendly, NOT pushy. After about 4 hours of packing, they were ready to roll. I had already spent the prior week off work getting the small stuff in boxes and o'lord, all the kids junk and toys. Probably the hardest part was the above ground pool that we had waited to the last second to diassembled. The kids didn't want me to take it down until they got a good swim out of it the night before. Derrick Evans was very helpfuil in his suggestions to pack the pool properly so it wouldn't rip or tear. I'm sure the kids were glad he did that, because the first thing they wanted to unpack? The pool! I'm impressed with Element and would hire again.

Comment : We just got moved by Element last week. We moved from Dallas to Phoenix with a 4 bedroom home, 2 kids and 2 dogs and 1 cat. Overall I think the move was a good one, we didn't have many expectations, the last company that moved us lost our dresser, and I still don't know how. What I liked about Element is they were prompt and very nice. I called on a Friday late afternoon, and they had me quoted soon after that. I agreed to hire them if they showed up on time, which they did. Once Terrance and Sheldon started packing, I could tell they were serious about their job and was very passionate.They packed my artwork, and glass items (of which we had many) with great care. We had one broken glass from a coffee table which the company replaced within a few days. The company stored our items for a month and then put everything into our new home.setting up whatever we needed.They were amazing.
