Comment : My moving experience with the workers who completed the actual physical move of all our belongings in August was excellent. Only half of the moving team, Tomas, Pop, and Ian, were able to travel the 200 miles from Indianapolis to the Detroit area, to complete the move.( I apologize, but do not recall the name of the other three very helpful and polite workers who were involved with transferring our things for the first phase of the move). These three guys were the hardest working people I have met. We had an enormous amount of things to move, and they were able to complete the job within an excellent time frame. They were very careful with all of our furnishings and given the amount that we had to move, it was incredible that no damage was done to anything. Tomas, Pop and Ian were also extremely polite and pleasant to have for over the 16 plus hours that were involved in the move. I used to work in the school system and have had a lot of experience dealing with a lot of different personalities and levels of courteous behavior, and these guys put my faith back, in terms of knowing there are still polite and people in the world! The administrative end of the company was polite and made effort to see to it that I was comfortable with the planning, etc., that was involved. We were not seeing "eye to eye" with time frame involved for packing and moving to put me at ease. I was not really sure whether the strategy they came up with was the best, as it doubled the work for the moving guys, but thankful for the extremely strong work ethic and good attitude of the movers, it all worked out. Hopefully Tomas, Pop, and Ian were compensated appropriately, I would not have given this company an excellent review if it were not for the outstanding work the moving team did.

Comment : I cannot thank Greenwood Moving and Storage enough for moving me! After being stood up by another company on Friday evening, I called Greenwood and they said they could be out first thing in the morning on Monday (I was not expecting a next day move). They arrived as promised and got everything moved out with a couple of hours. Bill and his crew were polite, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them for your move!
