Comment : We have just had a baby and moving to new state was the last thing on our agenda. But somehow I was transferred and had to scramble a quick move 400 kilometers away. Alpine van lines came to our rescue. One of my friends called them and arranged the move. They showed up on time and packed up everything really fast. I wasn't expecting this to be done so easily. Nothing was damaged or missing. The movers were just fantastic! They quoted me very reasonably and at the end of the moving the cost was quite fair. They really helped us out in a time of need- this is my way of paying them back. Please hire them if you care for your valuables.

Comment : I had a lifetime’s worth of horded things that needed to be transported to my new house. I knew it was going to be a massive job for the movers from Alpine van lines. The movers arrived right on time and I thought now they’d be complaining. But they didn’t even care! They had a very effective system in place. The big pieces required collaborated efforts from all four movers. They were done packing and loading all our things in no time! They delivered everything the next day. Comment : Even though it was stressful at times, we can truly say their professionalism and the great attitude of its lovely employees has no doubt that made it a lot easier. From the moment the guy whose name I have forgotten, came over to do the quote, to the last box unloaded at our destination. The service was awesome and the staff was super friendly and did not complain once about our mattress that weighs almost 50 kilos or the fact that they had to double handle everything on both ends. Comment : First of all, I have used a lot of moving companies. So far not one company has compared to Alpine van lines. I had to move on very short notice. I called them and told them when and how much they had to move. They were there on time. Let me tell you the movers treated my stuff like it was their own items from home. I did not have to do or say much at all. The move was a lovely relief from the stress that is currently in my life. If I was to need them again I will use this company. When I called them and talked about my move, the sales guy at the other end was smart enough figure out my needs and he planned a perfect move according to that. The deal, which was offered to me, was fantastic. I could not resist but to hire them and when the movers began to work I knew that I am in the proper hands. Movers were focused, motivated, committed, helpful, innovative and very friendly. They took very little time to complete the move and they were really awesome during the whole move. Comment : Contract was for 3 men, 2 came & didnt start work for 2 hrs; . Qoted 4 hrs and it took 9 hrs to move 2 people, 2 miles away. They wasted so much time through the day.Truck was more than half full upon arrival, which meant 2 trips- at hourly rate. Forcing our furniture in the truck repeatedly. I was told to provide shrink & bubble wrap, tape & they would wrap everything with blankets. They didnt use my wrapping materials, or ANY. They piled furniture on furniture without padding; Chairs on top of tables, metal on wood, all touching & scratching. Arrived at new place, David wouldnt let them unload until we paid them cash. He said too many people dont pay or cancel checks after the move; I see why now! It was raining- they brought things in uncovered, getting wooden furniture & suede chairs soaked. Comment : This is the first time, iam writing a review online. I have never ever received such a worst service in my life.They are a big time money extortioners. My things were in Virginia and had already relocated to California. I asked my friend to be at the Virgina apt at the time to loading.The initial quote was given for 1500$, when they arrived to pick the items, they said inventory list provided is not correct and they will charge 3600$ for the things. The things missed in the inventory, were 2 side tables , 4 bags and a chair. Charging 2000$ more for that was too much. Movers said, the truck has cubic feet markers, after loading the truck, we will measure the cubic feet and charge.We said ok. After loading the items, cubic feet marker was at 350.We were thinking, they are gonna charge for 350 cubic feet, 4.75 $ per cubic feet, which is 350 * 4.75=1557.5 $. Instead they charged for 650 cubic feet,suddenly adding 300 cubic feet, saying 300 cubic feet for the extra space loaded above the d

Comment : From what I have heard about movers from people, movers were mostly unpleasant necessity. But I couldn't care less since I never had the need to hire a moving company, till I needed one! I made sure I check as many online reviews on moving companies as possible. Alpine van lines seemed to be quite promising from what was written about them over the internet. So I hired them, keeping my fingers crossed. Their skills and efficiency was impeccable, definitely nothing compared to the quote they gave me. They made sure my valuables were delivered in one piece and maintained their schedules perfectly. I give two thumbs up to all the guys from this company that helped me move.
